From the moment guests walked into Port Sa’id, the room radiated warmth, connection, and the shared belief that together, we can change what’s possible for children facing neuroblastoma.

Every December 5, families, clinicians, researchers, and advocates around the world come together to shine a light on a shared mission: changing the future for children with neuroblastoma. This year, Shir for Life is proud to announce the second observance of International Neuroblastoma Awareness Day, #NeuroblastomaDay 2025, under the unifying theme “Together We Can.”

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month — a reminder that every child’s fight deserves global urgency. This year, Shir for Life marked the month in two important ways: hosting our September 5th webinar with Dr. Lucas Moreno, President of SIOPEN, and later joining the international neuroblastoma community at the SIOPEN annual conference in Copenhagen.

Over the past six months, Shir for Life’s International Neuroblastoma Webinar Series has brought together more than 800 participants from 41 countries, creating a powerful global network of parents, doctors, researchers, and advocates.
