Leadership, community, global collaboration, and hope — all in one room.

On November 17, our Shir for Life community gathered in New York City for the 2nd Annual Light the Future Gala — an evening overflowing with purpose. From the moment guests walked into Port Sa’id, the room radiated warmth, connection, and the shared belief that together, we can change what’s possible for children facing neuroblastoma.

Families, clinicians, researchers, philanthropists, and supporters from near and far came together for a night that honored Shir’s story, celebrated the courage of children fighting neuroblastoma, and strengthened a global movement built on collaboration and hope.

🎥 2025 Impact Video — What We’ve Built Together

This short film opened our evening, reflecting the global momentum you’ve helped create — connecting families, experts, and researchers across 50 countries, fueling critical research, and expanding awareness and education for families worldwide.

A Night Filled With Powerful Moments

The program was rich with emotion and insight — beginning with Einat sharing more of Shir’s story and her family’s continued journey to bring hope to others.

Guests were deeply moved by an intimate conversation with Nir Bar Dea, CEO of Bridgewater Associates, who spoke about leadership, purpose, and what it means to build a movement rooted in compassion.

We heard a heartfelt and courageous reflection from Danielle Prussien, RN of Memorial Sloan Kettering, whose words grounded the room in the reality and resilience of families facing this disease.

A special message arrived from across the world — an inspiring video from Dr. Francesca Del Bufalo at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, reinforcing that progress against neuroblastoma requires global collaboration.

Board Member Alan Roemer also shared powerful remarks on the growing research landscape and the role Shir for Life is playing in accelerating innovation.

Together, these moments created a meaningful arc of connection — culminating in a lively and generous live + silent auction, with all funds going directly toward supporting children and families battling neuroblastoma.
