Because childhood should taste like lemonade—not chemotherapy.

This movement began in memory of Shir, a spirited little boy who passed away from neuroblastoma before his 3rd birthday. Every summer for his birthday on August 23, his family and friends honor his memory with lemonade stands that raise money and awareness.

Join the global day of celebration and action for Shir’s 6th birthday on August 23, 2025 - host a lemonade stand in your community or online!

Can’t make it? You can join in—anytime, from anywhere—to honor your child, a loved one, or simply to stand for hope.

Shir's Story

celebrating shir's life

Shirkush was born in the summer, in late August. A magic boy who from birth has connected and touched every person he has met. Shir passed at the age of two from Neuroblastoma, a condition with no sufficient awareness or research.
